Inquiry based activity

I had a lot of fun doing this activity.  This was the first assignment I have been able to finish by myself and that felt really good.  I chose a subject I enjoy , for the 2nd grade, which my son is in.  I think that this made the activity much easier.

I like this site because it can be used in several aspects in the classroom.  As a teacher you could use this webquest site for art, science or language as it is.  You could have your students discuss the life of a butterfly in a paper after learning about them in science then have them draw pictures or make crafty butterflies for art class.
